In all seriousness, Scratch Team doesn't really have any plans for Scratch 4.0 unless HTML5 and JavaScript becomes deprecated which will not happen anytime soon.

It might also happen when the editor becomes outdated due to advances in technology.

Probably never, Scratch Team don't have any plans to update to 4.0, and Scratch 3.0 is rushed because Adobe Flash was discontinued and Scratch projects needs them to run.

Well scratch 4.0 isnt planned i dont think the scratch team said anything about 4.0 so it might not come but idk
