Scratch 2 has an expired certificate?

When I open the Scratch 2 offline editor it does this:

The editor still works fine, I'm just wondering why this happens and what has an expired certificate that the offline editor is trying to connect to.
Also don't ask why I have or am trying to open the Scratch 2 offline editor please

What is that gonna do? It still clearly says that the certificate is past its expiration date of January 16th, 2024.

Yes, but the certificate is not going to install, leading to Scratch not working if it's past it's expiration date.

I did sth similar on Mac and it works fine and also got rid of the message, so..
Though that would be kinda dumb..

Ok, you may be right. I attempted it myself, but I have gotten a new PC without 2.0 installed, and apparently, you aren't able to download 2.0 anymore.

You can go to the direct url, and it says sth about an expired certificate (it shows an expired certificate message before this but then this happened), but then you can just go forward to download.
https://scratch.mit.edu/scratchr2/static/sa/Scratch-461.dmg
https://scratch.mit.edu/scratchr2/static/sa/Scratch-461.air
https://scratch.mit.edu/scratchr2/static/sa/Scratch-461.exe
Then it shows the downloads again.
download.scratch.mit.edu seems to be the issue XD

My computer won't even let me follow the link… it says it's unsafe (which it's obviously not).

If there's an option like continue anyway under some sort of advanced menu then you should be able to visit the website anyway. I've had Scratch 2 installed on the system the screenshot is from for a few months and I haven't had issues with it until recently, which is probably because some certificate expired on January 16.
