You can use a “whitelist” with the allowed words in it instead, even though it will be harder to make. The list you were thinking about is called a “blacklist” and contains swearing. When people think of a bad word detector, they mostly think of a list with swear words in it.

Is it okay to make a safe chat with a whitelist and blacklist? The blacklist contains mean, threatening things to say. I'm just curious.

My bases don't have faces. I draw those last.

So, in my project, Windows Tem, there is a Google Presentation that I want people to see, but some mean person could edit it. Can anyone get into my Google Drive that way? Does it show contact info or anything?

If you add your own blacklist to a project, and others see the words on it, it is definitely reportable. I would recommend if they were added to the middle of the cloud, but NEVER add your own words if they are offensive to other people, since if they look inside and get offended, they will report.

Ok, so I don't know if this would count as necroposting or not but I still have a question to ask.

So im making a project that is horror based and it has a small amount of blood in the form of text on the game over screens (The text is simply red colored marker font with some same colored lines coming out of it) There is no actual violence in game, and the jumpscares I did my best to make them as scary without them being scary. I also included a warning in the instructions and in game stating that there are jumpscares and small amounts of blood and if you are sensitive to these things to not play. Would this be ok? Thanks in advance for the answer (I also know that this game will very likely get NFE but I don't really care about it getting front paged. I simply wanted to make a game from a idea i had.

Hi guys! A scratcher that I followed made a project that was VERY political. It was litterally about the upcoming USA election. The community guidelines didn't say anything about politics, so I wasn't sure if I should report it. I don't think it's allowed on scratch, based on the Be Respectful part of the guidelines.

Also, not sure if I'm correct, but wasn't this pinned or closed before? I remember seeing a topic like this before.

Political stuff is fine as long as it stays civil.

IDK if anyone will see this but I was wondering, I'm kind of planning an animation series and there's a scene I'm planning where a character is repeatedly banging her head against her computer screen from frustration until she accidentally broke the screen and it slightly cut the skin on her forehead, I'm planning to show the last few times it happens in silhouette so no blood (or 1-2 drops maximum for later on) and I'll probably put “don't try this at home” somewhere, but do you think this will get NFEd?

This scene is kind of important for the backstory of that character though so I probably can't remove it from the story.

Also how can you tell if a project has been NFEd?
