Intro to Remixing

Many New Scratchers ask what remixing is.
It allows you to copy the code of a project and change it. This is completely fine to do as long as you give credit to the original creator.
Some Scratchers make templates, which aren't full games but make it quite easy to make one. For example, you could use a driving engine to make a racing game.
Here's how you do it:
1. Find the project you want to remix.
2. Click ‘See inside.’
3. At the top of the screen, you should see the ‘remix’ button. Click it.
4. The project is now saved in the ‘My Stuff’ section of your profile. You can now edit it as much as you want.
NOTE: A little panel will show up next to your project that says it is a remix.
Another way to do it:
1. Find the project you want to remix.
2. Click ‘See inside’
3. At the top of the screen, click ‘File.’
4. Click ‘Remix’
5. Download the project, and load it.
NOTE: When using this method, the panel showing that the project is a remix will not appear. Remember to give credit!
