how to turn a fla into svg?

Reminder: I'm not an expert for .fla files
I find 1 fla file (I don't have program to make fla files) and yeah - no online converters…
BUT
There're some programs to convert fla to svg, but
1. idk if they work
2. idk if I can name them
3. just… idk… : |
So you can try to find program to do it…
Maybe Adobe Animate (just to be sure: based on some info - .fla files are animation projects made in Adobe Animate) has built-in converter, but installing THIS (+ it's adobe thing, so I bet, that it costs HUGE money…) to only convert files is (for me) not making any sense…
I hope my reply helped…

how to turn a fla into svg?
So assuming you have Flash/Animate, open your file, click on the frame you want to export, and go to File > Export > Export Image (Legacy), then where it says file format put SVG. I'm not sure why, but the regular Export Image doesn't have an SVG option. Hope I helped!
(If you don't have Flash/Animate how did you even get an FLA file in the first place?)
Just saying, but this is kind of outside the realms of Questions About SCRATCH.
I'm pretty sure Adobe has their own forums for this kind of thing :)

how to turn a fla into svg?
FLA is the file type for Adobe Animate projects. SVG is the file type for vector graphic images
How do you get a converter for that?????????
Anyways, you could get Adobe Animate, open the FLA using that, and export it to SVG

how to turn a fla into svg?
According to my friend, while technically possible, it's not practically possible.
Since Adobe's file design is proprietary, extracting the actual svg file data from said FLA file is pretty hard.
Doing a quick google search does yield some results from formatting fla -> svg, but unless you worked reallly hard on that fla file / can't recreate it, you're better off remaking it.

i got it from a friend, i just wanna finish what he was makingIf you don't have Flash/Animate installed yourself, you should ask your friend to export it in the way I explained above, and send the SVG to you.

Edit:
According to my friend, while technically possible, it's not practically possible.I can confirm that it is possible, for example, the art of this project's thumbnail was designed in Flash and exported into an SVG for Scratch, using the process I described above. (I also converted all lines to fills before exporting, although I'm not sure if this was really necessary, and I wouldn't recommend doing this if you plan to further edit the art.) (I already had all of the characters' assets made in Flash, I didn't wanna remake them in Scratch.)
