The following backdrops were first added in Scratch 2.0:

Slopes
Light

The only backdrop that was mentioned in that list that was first added in Scratch 3.0 is Mountain.

Believe it or don't, pretty sure that the gui is always uptodate, so can't really be.

And the last time the commit was to that file is still 4 years ago, which is the list that defines the selection's stuff unless I remember wrong.

If you think you're so certain that there are new backdrops, why did you make a topic asking if there are new backrops? And when someone told you the right answer to your question, why did you think it's wrong?

Zydrolic is correct, there hasn't been a new backdrop since 2020.
