Please read the title of this topic!

A week ago, a (New) Scratcher commented on one of my projects. We had a little conversation about them saying ‘bad words’/cursing on Scratch and solutions to it. But, they /wanted/ to get blocked. They know that nobody is allowed to curse on Scratch because it is a site for all ages (and kids).

A direct quote from them: “yes i hate scratch and you”.

1. Why do they hate Scratch and me? (They have not told me why.)
2. What should I do? (They are following me and are active.)
3. Should I use ‘Contact Us’ for this thing/problem?

What I have been doing about this problem:
I have only been commenting to keep a low profile. I informed only two Scratchers about it.

You don't need to use contact us. Since they are doing behavior that is very clearly wrong, just report the bad comments and the ST will deal with it.

i feel they are doing that on purpose, probably to make you feel sad, or worst abt yourself. but dont listen to them, just move on abt it, and they are probably a ban speed runner

Maybe its the purple header
Maybe its the non profit
Maybe its the technical stuff
there are multiple reasons + Gen A (later generations)

You don't have to inform anyone - just reporting the comments is enough

News/Update 1:

a. I looked at their profile; their most recent activity was 3 days and 4 hours ago.
b. Today, an extremely new Scratch user followed me. I said this exact phrase: “Hello there rabbit, how did you find me?”. The summary is ‘they found me in my closet’. In the end, I replied with ‘Bye’ and they said, ‘No, you can’t leave yet.'

Questions:
1. Did the first user get banned/blocked?
2. I saw the second user commented on one of said user's projects. I think they may be the same user. What should I do if they are really the same person?

I honestly never seen someone hate scratch but however, if I were to guess it's because they hate some features, I don't know which features though

It's likely because they are seeking attention. Don't engage next time you see someone like this, as that's just what they want.
Just report the comment and move on.

Just carefully ignore the hater(s) whenever I see someone hating me I just calmly ignore them and delete their posts, it'll annoy the bullies.

Ok here's why: 1. people hate kids stuff 2. People hate reports 3. People hate even just looking or finding scratch website and close it Bonus: me be like: everything is why I hate scratch I wish I would destroy and delete scratch for ever and make my own version of scratch ha ha hahahahahh!!!!!! I don't care if you say no I won't save scratch world and I won't donate!!! And I will never like scratch (until further notice) just reply with I think your true or something

Reasons why people hate scratch:
1) WHY ARE THE FORUMS DOWN-
2) Servers are bad
3) Manpower is limited
4) Oh yeah, the purple thing…
5) Is that the Freddy Fazb-*gets banned*
6) The comment filter bot. (I don't think I have to explain much…)
What should you do:
Report them, and if the situation gets out of hand (e.g. straight-up cyberbullying, reports are being ignored AFTER 24 hours), use Contact Us.
Remember, it is not ok to fight back, as that would result in action taken for both of the accounts, regardless of who started it.
