I see no harm this can cause
On the other hand, “if you hate” should not be banned, for example, a project named “like if you hate homework” is not offensive in any way

What about “If you hate Microsoft”, “If you hate @user, change your mind” or others?

What about “If you hate Microsoft”, “If you hate @user, change your mind” or others?“If you hate Microsoft” does not contain an “@” symbol. I have never seen the second one come up ever.

Imagine someone just hates that symbol
“If you hate @ symbol”
Or someone protesting
“Stop making ”If you hate @(user)“ projects!”
What if someone does this:
“If you hate @ symbol”
Or someone protesting
“Stop making ”If you hate @(user)“ projects!”
What if someone does this:
- "If you hate the @(username)"
- "If you hate the user @(username)"
- “If you hate (username)” No @ symbol
- "If you hate this user > @(username)"
- "If you hate this user" The name of the user is inside the project instead

Imagine someone just hates that symbol1. Thats quite rare, it could always be whitelisted
“If you hate @ symbol”
Or someone protesting
“Stop making ”If you hate @(user)“ projects!”
What if someone does this:And the word “user” in these examples can be replaced with many other words such as “person” or “guy”, and “If you” can be replaced with “I”. This problem possibly makes the suggestion harder and longer to add to scratch.
- "If you hate the @(username)"
- "If you hate the user @(username)"
- “If you hate (username)” No @ symbol
- "If you hate this user > @(username)"
- "If you hate this user" The name of the user is inside the project instead
2. Thats not allowed as its gossip (I think)
3. Those would be censored as well as the filterbot, though stupid, isn't that stupid (for example, if “cat” was censored, we all know “c a t” and “catty” would also be censored, and likely also would “c|at”

If the phrase “If you hate @(user)” gets banned then “If @(user) is someone you hate” and “If you dislike @(user)” and “If @(user) is someone you dislike” should get banned too.

No support. I feel like just reporting those projects works better than trying to filter them outright.
People could just not include the @, but if we decided to ban “If you hate (x)” altogether it could block much more lighthearted projects, such as “Favorite if you hate homework!”

ehh no support.
It seams too easy to bypass, almost no changed would happen. It'll just make people bypass. Yes, people being able to bypass shouldn't immediately destroy a suggestion, but if it doesn't help much… Then I don't know

ehh no support.Nirvana fallacy, you are comparing it to a perfect solution. It is meant to help control, not eradicate completely.

Either way, this makes a bit of sense even if I haven't seen many studios with it.
