i actually found out about that because i was watching a twitch plays event. they ended up using it over and over to get enough G to buy Cloudy Glasses (so that they could sell them to Temmie for profits and eventually buy the key to Mettaton's house)

I didn't even notice, if I'm being honest.
(I haven't gone in the Resort yet, so maybe that's why)
