greetings, legends <3 welcome to myth's cabin planning forum! if you are not reese, luna, or myself, i would like to politely ask you to leave at this time – i'm afraid you will find little here but information that may detract from your experience this session.

anywaysadoodle – i've listed out some topics below to get us started! feel free to add on to whichever bits you'd like – there's no need to answer everything all at once

timeline things

storyline - we have a definite percy jackson inspired theme – what would we like to do with this, and how do we want to share it with our campers?

cabin setup - personally, i like doing this as early as possible, once we have a thumbnail and introduction – thoughts?

art/design things

cabin thumbnail - what would we like this to look like, and how would we like to go about making it? if we'd like, we can create a shared canva and play around with it from there

matching pfps - assuming we would like to have these - who is up for making them, and what would we like them to look like?

cabin colors - color schemee? reese would know better than i when we need these finalized by

cabin aesthetics, banners, forum signatures, etc. - are all good fun! though not matters of immediate importance hehe

other things

cabin relationships - thoughts?

word counting - i imagine we're all on board with using a spreadsheet?

swc promos - are something all three of us agreed to create! if we'd like to coordinate with these, we've got around 10 days until camper signups

atmosphere - our draft atmosphere was:

“answer the call to journey beside heroes and demigods! with a quest to forge friendship, a prophecy of growth, and zeus to spark friendly competition along the way – our destiny lies in your hands <3”

would we like to keep this, write a new one, or something in between?

storyline: brain is still bouncing around on ideas - in terms of pjo, we could pull a camp half blood moment? or if we’d like them to embark on a quest - though we can technically do both at the same time :eyes: i think the only thing i’d particularly not want to do is make us the big three, it’s a bit mainstream to me ^^ OH and not pjo-related but i remember thinking reese’s ‘goddess of masquerades’ thing was super cool and it would be lowkey cool if we were all gods of something :0 and that could play into a plotline somehow? apologies that is all over the place bwahaha

art/design
technically from timeline - but agreed, i’d love to have things set up by camper signups! for graphic design - figuring it out together + collab canva sounds perfect <33 for matching pfps, i could do those, unless either of you would like to?

for color schemes - automatic vibe thoughts were blue (like the one in the anywaysamythsy app) and gold? but camp half blood is technically orange - but we could always do all three :D those are just the vibes i’m getting though bwahaha - i’m not attached to any of the three colors if we want something different

other things
cabin relationships! thoughts on siblings with cj and alia (we could do any kind of relationship - though enemies could be fun?) and possibly allies with soki and eevee? just vibes ahaha

word counting - you both know how i feel about spreadsheets ;D

storyline: aaa okay i think my brain's going in similar directions as luna's – one thng to think about is if we're thinking more laid back, or if we want a more complicated storyline… cause the way we go in terms of theme can kinda be impacted by that? but luna's idea of each of us being a goddess of something sounds cool to me ;D
(also isnt the next pjo book called wrath of the triple goddess sdlkafj anyways)

shared canva sounds perfect for thumbs! matching pfp wise, we could do something with their cabins perhapsss idk, but luna if you'd like to make those i'm all good with that!

cabin colors - i think we're thinking colors can be “due” around the end of january, so we have a bit of time for those, but i rly like luna's color ideass the color yall used in your app was so pretty hehe

and yep, i'm good to make a promo! i think tying them together could be cool though ohoho, did you have thoughts on that?

timeline

storyline - agreed with the goddesses hehe - as for storyline, i think more laid back might be better for our best interests? it gives us more time to focus on having fun and getting to know campers, and we are all high school students as is <3 i wonder if we could do something where we almost ask the campers to write their own story? i'm not sure how this would work, but we could have a series of preset quest event prompts and let them play with it from there – i imagine we'd have some willing monsters if we'd like (though i also acknowledge that this could become very complicated very quickly if we don't limit ourselves)

cabin setup - sounds lovely <3 shall we focus on basics + thumbnails for now?

art/design

canva! poof <3

colors - blue, gold, our blue/greenish color, and perhaps a light pastel-y orange? would be absolutely gorgeous :pleading:

pfps - i'm also good with luna making them! i also like the idea of doing something with their cabins – (side tangent) what if they were questing to become minor gods/goddesses? that would make them children of gods/goddess – it would be cool to have their parents' symbols somewhere on their pfps. and depending on whether or not you're up for drawing people, we could also make it look like they're being claimed by their godly parents? just a thought ahahaha

other things

spreadsheets - if we'd like, we could use mine? both of you have seen it before, it should be more or less the same as it was with a few things added along the way for convivences

cabin relationships - a slightly different thought – could we be siblings with alana? since myth and fairy tales :pleading: i would also like to be allies with summer (poetry) if possible, but otherwise don't have strong thoughts

promos - honestly i'm not sure, it just seemed like a fun thought ahahaha – if we're up for writing fanfi, we could write three perspectives of the same story, revealing different details along the way?

studio (luna) - sure <3 at some point we'll need to sort out who's responsible for updating qotds, but we can cross that bridge when we come to it ahahaha

i also would be happy to do the word count studio, if that sounds good?

on mobile so not very nicely organized ahaha but:

storyline: I JUST LOOKED THAT UP OMG being the triple wrath goddesses would be cool — we could do a play on chalice of the gods maybe? (i have not read that yet) how are we feeling about the chb idea? we could still rope that in if we’d like - and it could be an iconic setting? our quest could also go through iconic pjo locations - though that would require a lot of thumbnails bwahaha

also, really good point about complexity - we are going to be fairly busy, so maybe something not too high maintenance? we can still have complexity though if we’d like - low maintenance complex things exist bwahaha (i think)

pfps: ooo basing it off the cabins sounds cool - i presume we’d do that if we incorporate chb into our storyline?

and promos!! we could do a lot of different things — i have always wanted to try my hand at a cabin trailer, but i’m not sure how much time i’d have for that :thinking: if we go with the three goddesses thing, we write a connected story from each of our goddesses pov?

storyline - i also have not read chalice of the gods, but that does sound cool hehe – i like the idea of going through iconic locations! maybe not changing the thumbnail every time though – we could limit ourselves to text, or perhaps forum headers or something like that?

pfps - could we have something about gods claiming their children right at the start? they could start at camp halfblood – which would also set us up for some sort of “campfire songs” activity hehe

promos – we think alike bwahaha

storyline - i admittedly have not read chalice of the gods either sdlkfjas but yess iconic locations could definitely be fun!! i agree low maintenance ish is probably best – in terms of writing their own story, would that be like a laid back cyoa, moonsy? if we're thinking quest, there's also usually an end goal to keep in mind, while if we're thinking more making their own story, we don't have to worry about guiding them to an end place, and they can kinda take things at their own pace
(and OMG CAMPFIRE SONGS that would be so cool <3)

pfps - the claiming could be funnn how would that work though, would we pick a godly parent for each of them, or would they pick one for themselves?

promos - yess connected stories would be so fun hehe <3

storyline - sort of? we'd have to make sure that whatever they do or write doesn't actually affect the series of events that happen (unless we're up for writing an entire cyoa? we could simplify it, but that could easily become a lot ajkslddfds) – it's just an idea, we can keep it or move on, whatever you'd like <3

for pfps — maybe they can pick their own godly parents through pfps? you know how when they get claimed there’s a little thing that pops above theor heads (like the trident for percy) i could try making something like that in a pfp maker, and then they could pick their own

letting them write their own cyoa sounds interesting in concept - the only thing i’m worried about is the lack of direction aspect? w/o direction from us, i’m worried it may not go anywhere - i feel like whenever i’ve done things where campers write their own collab stories and things like that, it usually goes strong for a day or two and then dies

ooh collab story thought - if it dies rather quickly, we could have a series of really short ones throughout the session? that would balance attention and having a chance to have fun with it – and if they do find their way into some odd storyline point, we could easily write a few sentences having a god/goddess/magical creature save them

storyline - hmm yeah that makes sense, so perhaps we keep in the quest direction… OH if they go to those iconic places we could do collab stories at each of those? though that would depend on the number of places we're thinking, but it could be fun to do a little cabin bonding where we go hehe starting with campfire songs at chb <3

collab story — that sounds interesting! this is completely abandoning the iconic locations idea ahaha, but we could base them around iconic events at camp half blood? like capture the flag and encountering a monster, etc. not sure how i feel about that though ahaha

other note - i feel like the third week of camp is usually a general dip in activity (and i’ll be on my trip then) - do we want to account for an activity dip in what we do with our storyline if that makes sense?

family is here for dinner now — but reese i also like the sound of that <3 i will be back later tonight!

collab story - i think it would be more interesting to move around more? and provide more variety for collab stories – though we could work those into the start of camp as cabin bonding activities?

good morning hehe - cabin currency is a bit of a hassle, in my opinion – but we can if reese would like!

setup thing - what would we like to name our cabin? and same goes for our word count group – and on that thought, where would we like to set both studio's intros?

storyline - meddlesome goddesses are so silly sometimes <33 apparently the whole triple goddess wrath situation for pjo is like hecate's heads or something idk i was un poco confundida BUT yes i think coming to camp and getting sent on the quest all makes sense! now where shall they go ohoho i feel like empire state building makes sense (maybe they end there or something idk) OH they could be being sent on a quest by us to see if they're worthy of god(dess)hood :eyes: or would that be confusing and complicated idk but it could tie us in there
