Is it ok to use copyrighted songs/audios in scratch?

I was thinking about putting some music into my game projects, at first, I was going to make my own but it's kind of hard. so, I was thinking about putting some music into them, but I don't know if you have to ask permission from the original creator. can someone tell me if it is ok to use copyrighted songs in scratch?

technically, yes, if you give proper credit.
it is always possible the artist/publisher will remove it, but that's extremely unlikely.

Yes, you are allowed to use copyrighted songs in your project unless it's the main focus of the project, like those music player projects. Unless the creator of the song files a DMCA directly at your project, you should be fine.

It'll get taken down. However, if you want to dispute it, you'll have to go through some stuff to file a lawsuit. However, you probably don't want to do that and instead just avoid using that specific copyrighted work.

Yes, only if you give credit. If the author says you can't use it, then you can't even if you give credit.

ok. but if I'm making something like a rhythm game and I'm using copyrighted music, is that ok?

this depends, if the license says you can use it, you can use it, even if the author says you cant. (though they can DMCA you and it will probably still get taken down)

If you credit and you're not just reuploading the song, you should be all good. Besides, it probably won't get taken down anyway.

Yes (As long as you give credit). Scratch and YouTube copyright systems are not the same.

that would not work. the only reason you see it on youtube is to aviod the computer picking up on it. a human being on the other hand would easily notice it.

You won't get copyrighted. This is a kids platform and no one really cares if you use a copyrighted sound/song/picture etc. You can add credit if you want but no one can stop you if you don't.

Maybe so, but there are hundreds of millions of projects on scratch, and probably thousands posted every day, and most likely very little of them are reviewed for copyright.

And even if they are, some things like songs still can copyright you regardless of giving credit.

Regardless, it is still not impossible.
The credit thing is not about copyright - it's just a standard part of the community guidelines.
