Is horror allowed on scratch?
No, I'm not talking horror horror, but more like spooky-ish game horror. I'm going to assume jumpscares are probably in the not allowed zone, but I'd like to know how far I can go with a game I'm working on. I want it to be just scary enough for most, but not so scary that it gets reported. Speaking along the lines of other games (not on scratch), would roblox “Apeirophobia” be too scary? What about “Weird strict dad?” I plan to make it somewhat along the scariness of Lethal Company, (in the sense of, no jumpscares but still scary-ish). If anybody has an opinion, please share it with me!

NFE'd means when your project is marked as NFE [Not For Everyone] by the Scratch Team, which makes your project unable to be searched up or appear in the Front Page. What does NFE'd mean?

Cartoon violence is ok; just no blood, jumpscares, or realistic features.

So then, if it does get NFE'd, how can it be found? sharing the direct link?
And- can you tell if a project of yours get NFE'd?

I don't plan on adding blood, nor jumpscares Cartoon violence is ok; just no blood, jumpscares, or realistic features.
However, are any “monsters” allowed?
for example, would the classic backrooms entity be too scary?
What about a giant industrial machine that may or may not totally be based off the bagger 288?
And- if I do add jumpscares, IF I make a setting turning them on or off, and have it set to off by default, would the game still get NFE'd?

The direct link does get you to the project, but you cannot know if a project is rated NFE.NFE'd means when your project is marked as NFE [Not For Everyone] by the Scratch Team, which makes your project unable to be searched up or appear in the Front Page. What does NFE'd mean?

Soooooooooooooooo
theoretically speaking…………..
(i do not plan to do this)
but if you were to make a project that is not NFE rated, and post a link to the NFE rated project in that other project, that not NFE project could get to the front page.
Now, I do recognize that there is a fine line between: This project is empty and is just a link to the NFE project
and: This is a genuine game, but I happen to have “NEW GAME: link to NFE game” in the description
