Pluto (not to be confused with the former planet or the cartoon dog) is a series created by Naoki Urasawa as a reimagining of the classic 60's anime Astro Boy. The manga was created in 2003 and received an anime adaptation in October 2023 on Netflix. Discuss it or something. It's neat.

Also, if you're going to discuss spoilers, which is a given cuz the series has a lot of plot twists and stuff, put a warning or do that invisible text thing people do sometimes. I know the story is 20 years old, but the anime is relatively new.

I hate how I almost can't find any results for this show when I search for it. It needs a lot more exposure (and the good kind.)

Just started watching the first episode last night. Been a fan of Osamu Tezuka’s works, and I wanted to see the spinoff to see what it was like. Honestly, it’s really good so far, however, the only problem with it is that I feel like some parts are kind of slow, but maybe that’s just me. Also, the Black Jack cameo was kind of neat.

Glad to hear you're enjoying it. I think that even just the first episode is really impactful, honestly. Also, I didn't even realize Black Jack was there until I re-watched the series recently lol

Oh yeah, I was looking at the other Tezuka works and remembered I had heard of Black Jack prior to watching the show. Was gonna ask if that was him.
