Scratch does not use python, but HTML 5 if I remember correctly.
And some Java.
I'M NOT REFERRING TO JAVA, I'M REFERRING TO JAVASCRIPT.

The Scratch player uses the Scratch VM, which itself uses JavaScript

Going into a bit more detail, it is written using the JavaScript framework React.

Scratch runs on HTML 5, JavaScript, and CSS, and no, Scratch does not use Scratch, that would be impossible.

Also don't ask when 4.0 is coming, JavaScript would have to be cooked or something like that.

No Java. JavaScript on the client side.

False. No Scratch version has released due to old technology dying, rather due to new technology being more efficient/powerful.

Not on the client side, but at least Scratchr2’s back end uses Python. The Scratchr3 backend, i don’t think its known what it uses.

forums backend run on python, we don't know what scratchr2 (2.0 page backend) runs on, and scratch-www (3.0 pages) runs on React

Scratch does not use Python or Scratch. (bro what) Scratch is programmed in more advanced programming languages like JavaScript that is more harder than Scratch. Scratch also uses HTML. (I searched up what scratch was made with in the wiki I already knew scratch was made with JavaScript but not HTML)

Yes, but also no.
The editor and project player (and the 3.0 pages, and possibly the newer api.scratch.mit.edu API) are written in JavaScript. The server for 2.0 pages (including profiles and forums) are written in Python, but the client-side stuff in the pages themselves use JavaScript.

Honestly, the moderation is still terrible since the moderation is made up of bots that auto-detect you doing whatever and then automatically muting you for no reason at all. Don't know what line of code they use, but they should've throw that in the garbage and rewrite everything. Well- not everything but you get it.
