Since there are apps for certain sites like YouTube, DeviantArt, eBay, etc. I was wondering if there were ever plans to make scratch into an app accessible for mobile phones/devices.

nope. however, there is a scratch jr. app

there is one for android tablets. There used to be one for ipads to, but apple removed it.

Nope, there was once an app for iPad; it got removed by Apple because they didn't want people running programs inside programs.

There is a ScratchJR app on Android, but that's the furthest you're going to get for an app.

However, if you would like to access Scratch on mobile, just use it through your web browser. If you're going to code on it, I recommend doing it on an iPad or something with a big screen.

imo computer is the best way to use Scratch

Android tablets also have a Scratch app (though it is just an offline editor).

There isn't any Srcath app for phones since Srcath is too big to fit on one's phone screen.

There is one for android tablets and one for Scratch Jr. However, the app doesn't have communication or sharing.
