Try something very easy to maintain the forums.
This idea is from a comment by @gdfsgdfsgdfg on this studio. (Scroll down a bit.) Forum outages would take less time to fix.

Just saw the comment. Can't see the suggestion at all. Just “Try something very easy to maintain the forums”.

What’s the easy thing you’re suggesting?

Anyways this is pointless because the “very easy thing” is not only not specified so we atleast have a general idea, but this ends up being a Suggestion Hub because were the ones that are gonna have to be suggesting the “very easy thing”.

idk. Maybe it would be a special part of the website that only a select few people would be able to use that has buttons and stuff that change the servers and stuff. What’s the easy thing you’re suggesting?

Not possible, rejected as of 8.2 on TOLORS:idk. Maybe it would be a special part of the website that only a select few people would be able to use that has buttons and stuff that change the servers and stuff. What’s the easy thing you’re suggesting?
8.2 Add a rank above Scratcher or allow users to skip the New Scratcher status
There are three ranks: New Scratcher, Scratcher, and Scratch Team. The only reason the New Scratcher rank exists is to prevent spam, and since it only takes a few weeks to become a Scratcher, bullying and separation are rather minimal. Similarly, the Scratch Team rank exists so users know who is on the Scratch Team; generally, Scratch Team members do not brag about the Scratch Team rank. In contrast, there may be division in the community between Scratchers and those with a higher rank, which could also lead to bragging and bullying. This also includes a “verified Scratcher” status where well-known Scratchers get a special symbol next to their name.

These users exist: they're called Scratch Team members.

Can you even change servers by clicking a button? Additionally, what exactly do you mean by “stuff?” Maybe it would be a special part of the website that only a select few people would be able to use that has buttons and stuff that change the servers and stuff.

1. Probably possible, but I said it would be something easy. Can you even change servers by clicking a button? Additionally, what exactly do you mean by “stuff?”

2. Maybe these select few developers of Scratch could change stuff like post cooldowns, set a scheduled time to close the servers for maintenance, and more.

That's rejected, I believe: post cooldowns
10.1 Remove or decrease the 60 Second Rule
The “60 Second Rule” refers to the fact that Scratchers need to wait 60 seconds after posting in the forums before they can post again (120 seconds for New Scratchers). While this may seem annoying, it is extremely effective against spam. Moreover, it can require users to carefully think about what they have typed before posting. You generally do not have to wait for very long between forum posts anyway; it is just 60 seconds. Decreasing it is also rejected; that is, the number of seconds will not be changed.

I'm pretty sure these developers are already doing maintenance in the background already as some of them probably have access to the servers. I'd imagine those developers are doing very hard work 2. Maybe these select few developers of Scratch could change stuff like post cooldowns, set a scheduled time to close the servers for maintenance, and more.

You can't really change servers at the press of a button.idk. Maybe it would be a special part of the website that only a select few people would be able to use that has buttons and stuff that change the servers and stuff. What’s the easy thing you’re suggesting?
At the very least, changing a physical server requires, at the bare minimum, updating the records in the WHOIS, which j can't imagine the ST doing any time soon.

(#17)I'm not sure what you mean by “effective + cheap and easy.” You might want to elaborate on what your suggesting.

1. There is a bug that slows the site down thus forums go down I'm not sure what you mean by “effective + cheap and easy.” You might want to elaborate on what your suggesting.
2. It is effective on site performance and forums too
and its very cheap to do and not to mention it wouldn't be difficult to do
