Then it would be changed to cloud and be accessible from all sprites, don't know what you're saying :PIsn't this already a feature? No.
What if you make a variable “for this sprite only” and make it a cloud variable?
Also, if you're wondering what I mean by this, before 3.0, Scratch didn't delete the references when you deleted a variable or list.Oh god I forgot 3.0 added that until I saw your reply LOLLWell, you could delete the list or variable and then recreate it as for this sprite only/for all sprites. This does not work. If you delete a variable, scratch deletes all references to it. Any blocks which were using the variable are deleted when you delete the variable.

Huge support. It would be small, but I would like not having to start all over when I accidentally forget to make it a cloud variable or something.

Can you make a variable for that sprite only without deleting it?

edit variable
I feel like someone else has probably already suggested this, but I think that it would be extremely useful to right click and edit a variable (just like editing a custom block) to change its name and change if it is ‘for all sprites’ or ‘for this sprite only’ or if it is a cloud variable or not. If you know of another topic exactly like this one just link me to it so I can support.please fix this i beg u scratch

I always forget to click the ‘for this sprite only’ or ‘cloud variable’ button and then have to delete and recreate every variable with the settings I wantsnipBesides, it's not even that big of a problem. How often do you need to change a regular variable to a cloud variable or to a private variable? In the rare occasion that that does happen, I don't think a delete and recreate would be too hard.
also sorry this is a duplicate
