The forums now use the mainsite filter, which sadly affects BBCode.

I think it's the last word in the line "actually that's a [url=(some random link to Wikipedia)]bacronym[/url] …"

Maybe because it leads the user offsite to a maybe loosely moderated site?

I'm gonna test it on the forums, profile, and project description (someone else reported a filter issue and only the forums blocked it)
Also, another thing is there's a wikipedia tag:
Scratch

I'm able to replicate on profiles.
Edit: I see what's causing it:
/english/bump](and then that word again)

I think this is because you linked to Wikipedia? From experience, Wikipedia has given me false and true information. Maybe because anyone can change anything about Wikipedia means that there could be some inappropriate stuff on there.

No, there's a wikipedia tag and it's not blocked by itself.
Also this was solved:

It's the part after the language, english, that causes it.
