Why Do So Many People Capitalize Every Word?

It's really bugging me, because I am a hardcore grammar guy and I feel obliged to correct them. I understand that there are some non-native English speakers on scratch, but the number of people who capitalize every word of their posts is disproportionate. I'm sure when learning to write English, everyone learns about correct grammar, at least to the extent of knowing what words should be capitalized. (Really, it's only first words of sentences, proper nouns (ie, names of people or things), and weirdly styled pseudonyms (ie, ApuBeaTS

).)

So, why do they still do this?

I can see why they would do that for the title of their topic(With the exceptions, of course.

), but I haven't seen too many capitalize all of the words in the actual post.

I'm talking about actual posts. Titles should be capitalized.

I think it's just something that either people think is “cute”, or maybe it's just a weird habit they can't break.

Yeah I Know A Lot Of People Who Do This.

There's a lot of younger people on here who just talk like that because they don't know correct grammar. I dunno.

I find it extremely annoying tbh.

It's actually really tedious, how do the people that devote themselves to it do it?

Maybe they're just cookoo in the head or something. Maybe they think they're so poetic everything they say is a title of a work of literature.

Maybe they are just trying to capture your attention, or think it's a funny, individual (not really) way of talking.

I Have Seen This Habit Everywhere On Scratch. It Is Tedious To Type Like This. I Don't Get It When People Say It's Easier To Type Like That .
IMO, it is annoying and hard to read.

I just don't get it either.

it happens EVERYWHERE. no matter how hard you try to make sense of it, it all comes down to perspective.
they do it because:

they like to
it's a habit
they have OCD with the shift key
that's how they were taught
they weren't taught proper capitalization
they want to annoy you

like for me, it's become a habit to ignore capitalization unless I'm intending to emphasize something or if it's for acronyms and names.

But In All Honesty This Kind Of Practice Should Be Banished To The Shadow Realm

Ok ok, your complete lack of capitalization is really annoying as well, but I guess you have a point.
