Making an emoji button would save so much time, so you click the emoji button and then select the emoji you want to use (it’s the emojis like _meow_ or _gobo_)

True, but emoji spam is already a thing described in the wiki, which goes against the “don't spam” rule in the Community Guidelines.

My main issue with it is that it would make commenting that much more complex. Some new scratchers don't even know how to reply, I doubt they would understand the emojis. And, the beauty of scratch is its fairly simple, not very in-your-face design. I feel like emoji buttons would take away from that.
