Can you partner with openAI and make a new extension named scratchGPT?
No support. The fun thing about Scratch is you make it yourself, not just get an AI to do it for you. I can see how it would be fun, but until someone shows me how it could be used safely and without risks of being broken, I don't support it.

Can you partner with openAI and make a new extension named scratchGPT?
I'm seeing some misunderstanding on this, so just to be clear:
You're suggesting to add an extension to interact with OpenAI's models via Scratch, right?
If your idea is actually to create something like a copilot for coding, that wouldn't be possible. LLMs in general can be leveled up by using RAG. For example, gpt-3.5-turbo could be fed with documentation to create Scratch extensions, and, in theory, it would be able to code extensions. But, according to my tests, this wouldn't be able with literal Scratch block coding. I've seen that GPTs hallucinate many blocks, even if including RAG with a list of possible blocks.
I think I already gave my opinion on this, but no support to both ideas (if applicable).

No support. AI is a pretty controversial subject nowadays, but one thing that I can tell you is that AI-written work is not the generator's work. Scratch is supposed to be about creativity and perserverance. An AI extension or something would remove both of those aspects.

Okay, this is getting too popular. I have to close it now, and by the way, it would probably be for non school accounts, and it said, “PARTNER with openAI”, not, "use openAI's API, and it's a NEW CATEGORY OF CHATGPT BLOCKS, not a new feature.
