I’ve commented on a few projects, and they weren’t violating the community guidelines, but I didn’t want it to be publicly viewed by people anymore. On my own projects I can delete comments whether they are my own or not, but not on other projects even if they are my own. I’ve seen on other sites with commenting you can delete your own comments on other people’s work and can delete anyone’s comment on your own work. However that isn’t the case on scratch. Anyway my question is, is this a valid reason to report the comment?

Hi there! Unlike other sites, it is not possible to delete your own comments on someone else's work. Reporting the comment simply for it to be removed generally isn't a valid reason (and will usually just be ignored by the moderators).

If you really want those comments removed, then you can use the Contact Us form and provide the links to the comments that you would like to be removed. However, do note that unless posted on your profile or project, once you post a comment, you can't delete it yourself and others will be able to see it.
