Basically, a general discussion about pokemon is not allowed, but specific ones that don't cover the entirety of pokemon are allowed. Why? I have no clue.

Edit: not exactly ninja, I just didn't realise there was another page. Also I may be wrong because that's what I think. It's also what I remember others saying, so, it's probably correct.

i think it's just allowed because the limited scope leaves less room for flame wars. if people started arguing on here, it would get locked just as quickly
