“I know I'm really late for adding these ajgdhfg but i found my cabin war word count so +12k for cabin wars (i think you can add more than 10k words on those days?) and then +10k for a few days that i've missed (within the last 10 days) and recent writing, new total would be 50052/50k words if those count agjfhdjgk”
what would and wouldnt count? would i only be able to add 10k of those words, or all of them, or none of them? thank youu <33

if that comment was posted since midnight utc last night, it doesn’t count because it was past the deadline for adding word reserves.

though i don’t know how that would affect the words from cabin wars.

everything becomes reserves after camp ends (and it's been 7 days after cabin wars anyways, so those 12k would become reserves anyway), so yes only 10k of that 22k could be added. also you would need to ask that camper for a breakdown of what the words they wrote are from, and probably some proof as well

one further question on the topic,

i add words my campers wrote toward cabin wars just from war comments and don’t require them to add them again separately.

if sci-fi managed things that way, only 10k of those words would be reserves. if folklore had not managed things that way, we’d have about 25k words less considering these were then not added separately from war comment chains.

is there a “correct” way to add cabin wars words? if so, which is it? if not, is it fair to count this sci-fi camper’s 12k words from wars as reserves?

so, I'm not sure I totally understand but, I personally think it's better to have your campers add them again separately just to avoid confusion about word counts. let's say you add the words from cabin wars without having campers add it seperately later. if the campers don't know you’re doing that, that causes confusion on their side and potential double adding/words not being added

if the 12k words that sci-fi camper wrote was added after camp ended and before the word adding window closed, then yeah 10k of those words would count. it's fair for them to be added as reserves as long as those words weren't added b4

both methods are fine and can be used, but just be cautious ^^
