A Community section on profiles (Like YouTube!)

This is good idea. with community post scratchers can post announcement with ease without needing to use a studio and invite all of their followers (its annoying) and users can enable announcement i they want to.

Maybe a report system? so the post can be moderated so it works like the forums.

Overall is good. the mockup should be a bit similar to the profule page.

This will create more work for the ST as they have to make sure the community posts follows the community guidelines. And a large majority of the people will just advertise there. I'm assuming that the main purpose of the community posts is not to advertise. However this would sometimes come super handy like when a scratcher wants to give an update to their followers.

1. Filter bot. Easy solution.
2. Isn’t it what the Community posts are for? Advertising progress and releases of new project as well as making announcements?
3. The last part is true.

Support. I would really find it useful if I could give my followers updates on my projects easily.

support!! I've had to make tons of “announcement” projects and it just clutters up my files, making it harder to actually find my good projects. as long as you can report posts this should be really good!!

Support! This community section would help by less work and clutter in my files (I use projects to make announcements but I rarely do it now), and it would be fun to have a community part of Scratch instead of just in posts.

Youtube doesn't have profile comments, as far as I know. So it's community section is the equivalent of Scratch's profile comments.

There’s community posts though, you’ll find it in the Community section of your channel.

This would definitely be helpful for people who don't release many projects and when they do release one it's very good and well-coded. That doesn't necessarily apply to me but it would still be useful for me as I plan to move from my main account to this account in the relatively near future and an announcement feature would be better than just a profile comment. support

Scratch is already by definition a social media, albeit a creativity-based and heavily moderated one.
