Oh wow, that's an issue for mobile users! I didn't even think twice about that lol
That should be implemented correctly for mobile users since ST supports a mobile web version of Scratch 3.0's editor.

ST does support the mobile version of the Scratch editor for 3.0, use safari or a mobile device and use the editor and you'll see pop-up keypads and drop downs for the editor to work for mobile users.
This should also apply to the reshape and shaping tool as well.
I keep getting king of the page for some reason lol (Luck I guess).

I’m on mobile. It’s extremely easy to make perfect triangles — just line up the top tip with one of the boundaries in the grid. I don’t see why a triangle tool should be made. If anything, it should just be some sort of polygon tool instead with inner radius (you could form stars and shapes with x sides). Don’t see why it should be restricted into just triangles.
Oops, looks like the older topic had the same idea too. It’s sad it hasn’t been added to it. I was beat to it by a few years!

It's possible with Ocular, but you have to be on a personal computer to do so as it's blocked on school computers.

Most SVG editors have triangle shape options, so why not bring them to the scratch editor?
It will have a right and equilateral triangle option.
