It may as well be the exact same thing, because notifications are toggleable

idk if this is dupe i want a new button you can press and get notifications in your mail that the person you follow shared a project it will make scratch better and i think people will start to advertise a bit less

Also, people can't just ignore it. It's in your dang face! How can I just ignore a prompt that's in front of me? That's like playing a horror game and ignoring the jumpscare. (or playing Mario and trying to beat up Cappy and not Bowser)

Ok but I don't see why they shouldn't add the button because it's not going to make it worse they will just have an extra button they tell you to press. You can still ignore projects that ask for likes and follows too much that is what I would do

I mean, saying something along the lines of this is equally unpleasant:

Follow me, and love and fave this project!

Nonetheless, you can still abuse these features, and yet they haven't been removed.

Support this would be very useful since the “What's happening?” section is always cluttered
edit: also, I don't see the problem with it being like YouTube. I mean, we already have people saying love, favorite, and follow, it wouldn't make that much of a difference if people said “click that bell” as well (no rhyme intended)

Most people make a lot of comments at one time, and I don't see the benefit of getting notified for that. I don't think that is part of the YouTube feature.

If you accidentally belled a spammer will be VERY ANNOYING, could crash your computer or make your computer one of those particle accelerators.

I explained that it's useful because you will not have to check everyones profiles to see if you missed a new project and how can you even get spammed just turn it off
