Well to be fair, the Scratch Wiki has been curated by the community for a while, and the community won't know if Scratch is making any Plans. Plus, ST did not say anything about 4.0 release plans, so that doesn't mean they won't ever release it.

But yeah it's definitely not going to be 2025 lol

The wiki has assumed they have no plans simply because they didn't say anything. It's a fair assumption, but that doesn't mean there will never be a 4.0

Probably not, considering the only thing Scratch can change is the bugs and glitches. Also, many pages still use the 2.0 interface. But my main question is what would the interface look like? They can't really update it any more. We can't make a mobile app, because of some Apple thing, and less than 5% of the Scratch community are Android users, so there's no need. I'd actually like to hear what you have to say. One thing I could see is them implementing dark mode, which they can do for 3.0 as well. I don't think 3.0 is ending soon.

Just because they don't have any plans doesn't mean it will never release, just that ST isn't planning it any time soon.

3.0 isn’t even done yet so 4.0 is still a long ways away, I doubt 4.0 will even come out at all

they still wouldn't know better and nothing would really change as they seem new to the forums and likely don't know forum rules.

just because it's been that long it doesn't mean it really needs an update, Scratch 3.0 isn't finished yet.

Just because html5 is not dead yet doesn't mean scratch 4 will release at the end of html5.
