It is reccomended not to have a block such as
insert code ::grey
Instead, do . . . (with spaces between the dots
. . . ::grey
It's far more convenient too
I've seen some people not get what the dots mean, and did you read what the block text was??
Also, the spaces aren't necessary:
...
Yes I read what the block text was, I was intentionally using generic text.
Also, … as a whole means an omission of something, whether that's an omission of sound or showing that parts of something have been cut out (like in the case of the … block). While some might not quite understand what it means, if it's a small enough amount of people it's not too much of an issue and if need be we can explain it to them (or direct them to the Scratch Wiki's page on the style guide)

Support. I see how some people with like color blindness or something could change the colors of the blocks in order to see them better. Like maybe changing the colors of variables and lists because they are both some form of orange (yes i know lists are like orange red). Also you could make your blocks festive colored and i don't see any way to oppose holiday colored blocks (^^) !

For the change your block colors to this problem… You could probably tell just by the shape. Just report the project for inappropriate colors or whatever.

move () steps ::#eb6b34
say [here are some colors i'd pick!] for (2) secs ::#0e8bab
play sound [colors v] ::#f0248a
stamp ::#969696
broadcast [nice colors v] ::#3d3d3d
silly color [block v] haha ::#235759

Hey, There is a chrome extension called “scratch extensions” That has the custom block colors setting. Thanks!
Okay? So? We're not talking about Chrome extensions.

I'm suggesting we get customizable colors for the blocks.

The point is that we get some customization on the platform. We hardly get any!

Please don't use so much slang. If you use too much slang nobody can understand what you're saying.

It helps us so we can actually get SOME customization in Scratch. Also, it can colorblind people.
Not to mention holiday colors. People can set their blocks to seasonal stuff whenever they want, and change them whenever they want.

Yes, but too bad I wasn't around. It could've been useful.

(Sorry I stole your chance to respond, @medians… heheh.)

Stated it earlier. Anyone who sees inside a different project that isn't theirs, you would just see your own block colors.

by that logic we could use any scratch feature to be malicious. Just draw something inappropriate and put it in a hidden sprite or something?

I am also a bit colorblind and I thought the variables block was like a reddish color.

You have no idea how many scratchers want to hide their code from others…

Scratch embraces remix culture, and so should all it's scratchers, with this suggestion, a scratcher might make their blocks white effectively making them invisible to the human eye( hugh contrast doesn't help much…)
