Whenever someone tries to add a project to a studio it will send the creator a message saying

“User (username) wants to add your project (project name) to the studio (studio), visit the “studios” page on the project to confirm”

On the project page where it would show the studios the project is in, it would have at the top prioritized over the other ones there will be the studios people have requested it to go in. Under it there will be a check mark and an x. Clicking the check mark will add it to the studio and clicking the x will decline the request

This might be a bit much, and I’ll maybe make a mock-up later with inspect element

people are just gonna spam add it to studios to spam peoples messages, and the message-boxes of people who get frontpaged aren't gonna see the light of day ever again

Looks like a good idea, but there should also be an option to block requests from certain studios.

If you try to add a project that already was requested to be added to the studio it would say “whoops! Looks like this project has already been requested to join this studio!” On the studio page
It would also say this if you decline the invite and try to add it again.
If you accidentally decline it you could add it back yourself fine
You could also only request any individual project to be added to 1 studio at a time per user (once it gets added you can make a new request)

3: you can filter messages so this wouldn’t really be an issue

support 'nuff said

Support - some scratchers probably don't want their projects being added to studios and having to remove it - what if they have tons of projects in tons of studios they don't want their projects in - people don't want to spend hours removing projects.

But that would be annoying, especially for people who get tons of views on tons of different projects.
