Scratch Being Removed from Florida Schools

Does anyone know of a school district in Florida that has been able to get the state mandated student data privacy document signed by Scratch? My local school district has banned Scratch as they claim that they have not been able to get find any district that has gotten the required document. Seems if I could only find one district, I could get Scratch reinstated. On the opposite side the district is saying that Scratch (and other programs) that don't comply with the documentation requirements will be banned from those districts.

I've tried to ask the Scratch team for help but I've gotten no response, so I decided to try here. Considering that Florida has the third largest primary education student population, I would hope some Scratch member would know of a district that has gotten the approval.

it was banned probably because of this:

and it was probably blocked before you came here

What’s the impact of this kind of content on Scratch? Multiple school districts have blocked access to Scratch. Several parents have reported their children having nightmares. A number of community members have expressed they feel uncomfortable browsing Scratch because of this type of content.

Wouldn't this part of the Privacy Policy count?

EDIT: Though of course its not a legal document, it does sign the fact that theres no data collection on students (aside from agreeing theres only data disclosure to service providers and research institutions

Thank you both for the quick responses.

Would be great if the standard privacy policy did. Apparently there's some official legal document or so I'm told. That's why I'm hoping that someone maybe comes back and says Scratch has been approved in their district.

I spent three weeks being lead around as to the reason, and it landed on the privacy. Hopefully if I provide that answer to them, they don't move to another reason why. But …

I think asking the Scratch Team directly is your best approach here. They are the only ones that can address the issue.
