Do they read reports by looking at what was reported? Cause one of my pfps got removed for being “too scary” when it was just 2 of my old oc's

Yes, but it can take a while for them to look at it since there a lot of reports all the time. If something gets reported enough times it gets taken down automatically until it can be reviewed.

99% of those bans are not “false”, usually people who claim they are false either A) are confused about the ban or B) lied on the internet in order to try to gain sympathy.

If you see these “people who really should be banned are not purged by ST”, feel free to silently report them. The ST looks through every report, like subjectnamehere said.

This problem is not unique to Japanese projects. Japanese projects are just quite popular on Scratch (check out the explore page for examples), which means that they will get more false reports.

If you suspect someone to be intentionally reporting projects or users that are doing nothing wrong, then either report the comments where this user stated that they are doing that, or use Contact Us to tell the Scratch Team more about why you suspect this person to have malicious intents.

I wish the ST could manage this problem correctly.
It seems they can do nothing but believe such wrong reporter's claim because they don't understand Japanese language. Those incidents happens in Japanese language in the Japanese community at least.

In my case, an alert message from ST said I had given a wrong answer. But it was not actually “answer” but just a question.
they can use any translate such as google. But they can't understand contexts written in Japanese.

I have used “contact us” a few times. But I have never gotten any valuable answer and support from the ST.

If the ST could handle this issue correctly, those wrong reports won't come to problems because any projects and comments which were not wrong can not be deleted even in English or the other languages.
