Well we have been waiting for the client and server code to be open-sourced for over a year now

oh its going to be chaos. i'm starting to like version 1.8 so much more now because of how simple it is compared to now.

Almost every version is downgradable, even PE for iOS!
true, but only java has it in the vanilla launcher, all other versions need external tools.

The game itself is being rewritten in TS. IDK if there's a launcher
