I'm in Australia, the whole state of QLD (all public schools) use EQ (Education queensland)'s program called OneSchool/OSLP. It gives us our class timetables, assessment lists, grades

Check your chromeos version by putting “About ChromeOS” in the launcher. If it's below 115 you're good, if its not then So basically you want to get a usb, then get the chromebook recovery utility from the chrome web store. Then choose your model and then flash the usb, but cancel it. There will be a drop down, choose “enterprise” (i forgot the rest do the third one) and then start it again. Then backup all of your data, then press esc + refresh + power and plug the usb in. Then wait for it to finish, you will get a “welcome!” screen so go to all the steps then when it says “enrollment complete”, login again and restore your data from google drive.

Never update chrome. Like literally ever. First do ltmeat (this one) to disable cisco umbrella. For the first step the ID for cisco umbrella is already

Then install this, and finally, BACKUP ALL YOUR DATA, and then go to

Now go to https://chrome100.dev, then choose the word that you copied. If there is any version below 101, and crosh is unblocked (check with CTRL+ALT+T, if you get anything other than a fullscreen “crosh is blocked” window, and not the blocked you see when going to a website it's unblocked) that's PERFECT, download version 101. If you don't have those, download version 107. Unzip the zip file you downloaded and you'll get a bin file.

If you have a “update right now or else your chromebook will die” prompt, and not a “Update available” prompt, downgrade to version 86 and follow 101 tutorial.

Now, you'll need a usb. Install the Chromebook Recovery Utility from the chrome web store, and then on the top right press the settings icon and choose the one that says “use local image” and then choose the bin file you got. Now choose your usb and wait.

Unplug the usb, press ESC+REFRESH+POWER on your chromebook, then plug it in again and this should be smooth sailing from here. If you got a “version of chromeos is out of date” you have been fogged and have to open up your chromebook. But if it isn't, great! Now go through the “Welcome to your Chromebook” prompts, and then login.

Now, if you chose version 101, do this:

Open Crosh with CTRL+ALT+T.
Then, copy and paste this in.

set_cellular_ppp \';dbus-send${IFS}--system${IFS}--print-reply${IFS}--dest=org.chromium.SessionManager${IFS}/org/chromium/SessionManager${IFS}org.chromium.SessionManagerInterface.ClearForcedReEnrollmentVpd;exit;\'

Then, powerwash your chromebook.

Now, if you chose version 107, do this.

Go to this website, and remember the word you copied in chrome/version? choose the zip file with that word, download it and unzip it.
Now, go to this website and press “legacy builder” if the word you copied was “hana” or “coral”
Scroll down, press the start button, and then choose your .bin file you downloaded from the last website, and not chrome100.dev. Then after it's done you'll download something again.
Now, download the Chromebook Recovery utility again.
Then open it, press the settings icon on the top right, press use local image and choose the bin file YOU JUST DOWNLOADED, which is named something like “injected_shim.bin”
Then go through the prompts again. Now when it's done, backup your data, unplug your usb and press ESC+REFRESH+POWER.
Now press CTRL+D, then ENTER. Now when you get to a new screen, press ESC+REFRESH+POWER again.
Now plug in your usb, and press ESC+REFRESH+POWER again.
Now wait.
Now agree to the disclaimer with enter, and then scroll down with arrow keys to “Utilities”, and press enter. Now scroll down with arrow keys to “Un-Enroll Device”, and press enter. Now press backspace, and scroll to “Reboot”, and press enter.
Now press “Confirm” on “Confirm returning to secure mode” or press SPACE then ENTER on “OS verification is OFF”

Ok now, when you get to the “who's using this device” screen, press “Myself”, then login with a PERSONAL GMAIL ACCOUNT first, then a school account. Ok good job.

Edit: Do caub again to block updates, and downgrade to version 86 (74 best) if they set a “update right now or else your chromebook will die” prompt

no, but you can disable those annoying notifications by going to notifications and disabling them, idk, I'm not that good with hacking and all that stuff

chrome://extensions

and then press Details on GoGuardian and then look at the URL then copy the gibberish, then follow the tutorial with that ID
