Linux Emulator
I'm looking for a good Linux emulator so I can practice Linux. I also posted in AT because I believe this is advanced and I'm pretty sure people have made these on scratch.
Basically, I'm on a school Chromebook, so no Linux for me. I'd like to learn it, but I can't install it on anything. I've found LinuxJS and that Linux scratch project (https://experiments.turbowarp.org/next/892602496/fullscreen?size=960x720). Anyone have any recommendations?
If it's on scratch, possibly one with lots of commands for the terminal. The one I linked earlier definitely is good, but it pretty limited.

That project you linked is probably as far as Linux on Scratch will go
You could use Replit to practice Linux – it basically gives you a free-to-use Ubuntu box

Ah, okay. Sadly, replit is blocked on our computer for many good reasons (GPT, games, etc) I would ask, but it was exploited by some year 7s as a games website.

This also gives you a free Linux instance

It's impossible to use Linux on Scratch as Scratch cannot create or read on a computer's hard drive and you cannot run real operating systems on it….
However something talented called billman managed to emulate a recent version of Linux dumbed down to fit on a scratch project size, and succedded, proving people that Linux on scratch is possible.

Hiitbox wants to use something that's more advanced and it doesn't have to be Scratch- Hiitbox
