And it's not horrendous! (It's still not a good tutorial for bare metal, but they don't really make you go away from it)

The difference is that Apple's user guide heavily relies on their Boot Camp and doesn't even have a single word about, say, VirtualBox (unlike Microsoft's article, which flat out mentions running Linux bare-metal)

Maybe because the user guide is literally called “Boot Camp Assistant User Guide”?
