What this is
this is a suggestion for questions about scratch to have a message that by the time it closed it has either been resolved or abandoned, lowering people binging (or googling for my lads at goggle) it up and posting something random.
what this is not
this is (currently) not intended for other sections, as those usually are good but just need a push. QaS is supposed to be short, all others may go years without a word but are still worth bringing up.
pros

• necro posts less likely
  no more “this is a necro post”
  prevent necro-spam (spam necro posting on purpose)
  

cons

• if implemented forumwide then good but archived suggestions go bye bye
  closed forums make the starters worry if they dont know why
  

Seems like a cool idea, but I think the ST likes their archived stuff.

I was going to say “what if a user wants to bump the question over a month later”, but they could use the Report button to get it reopened.

there is a notice that changes every week, month, 6 months, and then closes

Ok. sorry for nitpicking, but in the OP you say 4 weeks and one month. a month is 4 weeks and I have cdo (ocd but in alphabetical order)

That aside, seems like a good suggestion. but, maybe after a year and it was closed there could be a button for requesitng to bring it up just because reporting takes a while?
