No support, Genesis controllers aren't being produced anymore, and the Genesis lost support back in 1997 (26 years ago).
I mean theres the remaster
Do you mean the Genesis Mini? That's not a remaster, it's a mini-computer (or something similar) running a Genesis emulator in a mini-Genesis shell.
That controller is connected via USB, so it'd be part of this topic.

Is the remastered sega genesis still up?
If not then pointless
sega genesis is already discontinued
Scratch has existing extensions for discontinued LEGO products.

When the extensions were implemented the products were still being manufactured, unlike here where the product has been discontinued from years.
The fact they didn't bother to remove it doesn't mean we should just add support for obscure stuff from 20 years ago hoping that at least one scratcher owns the discontinued product. Like, that wouldn't be a smart economic decision.

Should this still be open? It's impossible and the Genesis Mini would be part of another topic (the USB controllers topic).

barely anyone that uses scratch has a SEGA genesis / megadrive, and what does “WHAT IF SONIC SCRATCH GAMES COULD BECOME MORE RETRO???” really mean? It sounds like something out of a weird Youtube kids content farm.

Thanks for the link! It does look like this is a duplicate topic so I'll close it to keep the conversation all in one place.

Please use the existing topic in the link above.
