How To Use Scratch, Volume I, Motion
Motion scratch blocks are a category of blocks in Scratch that control the movement of sprites on the stage. They can be used to create animations, games, simulations and other interactive projects. Here are some tips on how to use motion scratch blocks for Scratch wiki:
- To add a motion block to your script, drag it from the block palette to the scripting area. You can snap it to other blocks to form a sequence of commands.
- To change the parameters of a motion block, such as the direction, distance, degrees or steps, click on the white space inside the block and type a new value or use the arrow keys to adjust it.
- To delete a motion block from your script, drag it back to the block palette or right-click on it and select “delete”.
- To duplicate a motion block, right-click on it and select “duplicate”. You can also hold down the shift key and drag the block to create a copy.
- To test a motion block, click on it once. The sprite will execute the command and move accordingly. You can also use the green flag button or the space bar to run your entire script.
- To document a motion block for Scratch wiki, use the {{block}} template to display the block image and name. You can also use the {{note}} template to add additional information or tips about the block. For example:
(note) If the sprite touches the edge of the stage, it will bounce back in the opposite direction.}}

Thanks for trying to help, but this is not the purpose of this forum. It is for posting questions, not guides. If you want to help, you can see if there are any available topics you can answer. If you really want to post guides, create a Scratch Wiki account.

It's really nice that you want to help out with a guide! However, we have a number of them in the forums already and we don't have a good way to showcase any more. If you want to make a guide in a Scratch project, that would be fine. You could advertise it in the “Show and Tell” section too.
There are lots of other ways to help out in the forums too. Helpful Scratchers are always welcome in the “Questions About Scratch”, “Help With Scripts”, “Requests” and other sections. Just look around and ask questions
