No support , I don't see how this is necessary, many Scratch Team members have put a message asking people to not publicly report things on their profile.

True, however, that doesn't stop people from ignoring the ST member's About Me or What I'm Working on.

People tend not to read the ST members' bio, so a popup would ensure that people actually read it.

To be honest if the ST members were actually irritated by the profile comments, they would have introduced this feature themselves. Wouldn't they?

Been a while since I've seen this one.

Anyway, I'm a Scratcher now, so I can bring up a new point. Plenty of Scratchers comment on former Scratch Team members' profiles, thinking they're still on the Scratch Team, and some still try to report content on those profiles. I haven't seen a lot on my profile, but I know I've seen quite a bit on @amylaser's. Maybe that's partially due to the fact that we're still on the Credits page … but if that proposed pop-up does not appear for us (since we're Scratchers, not Scratch Team members), then that won't really help matters…

Anyways, I support. Most kids don't like to read a lot after reading for 1-6 hours a day for school so a pop up saying “Hey weirdo, don't publicly report people.”

Remember when some kid on ceebee's profile managed to find a bypass to say the f word without spacing because he was reporting someone for saying it? We can prevent situations like that with this.

Not every ST member is able to do that. I support because it would reduce public reports, which I can tell are a problem.

ST Members x=x developers of the scratch website usually. While from our perspective it wouldn't be hard, imagine a game company putting all the coders into art, and artists into code. It wouldn't go well.

ST members have to remember they are babysitting pretty much, and have to remember they are dealing with children who don't know any better. And thats okay. Is it really the childs fault for publicly reporting after they didn't read a ST member's bio? No. IS it the ST Members fault? No. The child doesn't know any better.

This does make sense to limit this issue even further but it will take a bit more time to implement. I can give you a revised pop-up for former Scratch Team members:
“Hey! This is a former Scratch Team member's profile. If you came here to pubicly report, please don't - they can no longer moderate the site and please use the report button for any inappropriate content you see. If you did not come here to pubicly report, you can ignore this message.”

Support, but make the pop up blue or something not red because red look looks like a warning or like you did something wrong.

I have seen lots of this:

And I really want to see less of this. This would help stop other people from doing this. Wouldn't be hard to implement, as well. But I think it would be annoying seeing it, sometimes.

Support! The rules of Scratch for Scratch Team members about publicly reporting should be enforced more, and this would help remind people not to publicly report on their profiles.

Just ban them forever then that would solve the problem!
