Then I don’t know when Scratch is discontinued.

Scratch will not be discontinuing any time soon probably.

They've been determined for around A DECADE AND 6 YEARS, that is from when the site was launched I believe, which is when Accounts were not a thing yet (to my knowledge).

We have no real specific or conclusive answer, as this is a hypothetical question.

Only time will tell if they ever discontinue.

16 decades would be 160 years, which is longer than any human has ever lived, and the internet hasn't been around for that long, so scratch couldn't have existed 160 years ago. Scratch has only been around for 16 years, considering it was founded in 2007.

Who knows? The ST don't seem to be planning on closing this place anytime soon, and appear to be actively working on it to this day. There's literally no way any of us including the ST could answer this question, as it's both unknown and, as others have stated, hypothetical.

Either way, I doubt they're going to close up Scratch for quite some time. It's still being supported and updated.

That means they will not shut down in 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026 you get it. Scratch will probably still be up when you are like 30 years old. So basically you can still use scratch and don't worry about it

itll be discontinued once its discontinued, whether that be in 5 years, next month, or even a century. we just have no idea

Scratch has gotten a lot bigger over the past few years, it doesn't seem likely they'll discontinue the site now.
