Hi there! I've been having a bit of trouble adding emojis to my comments on my Chromebook. Do you know how to fix it? Every time I try, they end up turning into question marks which is a bit frustrating. I did find out that some emojis can be made using codes at the bottom. I just wanted to let you know in case you were having the same issue. Thanks for taking the time to read this!

Scratch doesn't support most standard emoji. There is a list of scratch-specific emotes that you can use (for example typing _meow_ adds a scratch cat head and _pride_ makes a pride flag) located on the Scratch Wiki, though.

Because the emojis you are attempting to use are falling outside the Basic Multilingual Plane.
there are preset Scratch emojis you can use by the way.

These are the only emojis you can post on Scratch.

it IS possible to send any emoji if code isn't greater than 65535, but sadly only on forums
