There’s a cat whose name is relevant to one of the clans’ name, and they progressively reveal that the place in the forest territories that they like the most is in fact the one that will then be he place where the clans whose name is relevant to the cat’s name will live. The prophecy of the blazing star is genius too, it’s relevant to so many other events in the other Arcs. The Dawn of Clans is probably the best series in my opinion, it just seems like the perfect series.

Really? I'm skipping Dawn of the Clans. I'm really excited for A Vision of Shadows, and some say Dawn of the Clans isn't that great. Your opinion on this?

Opinion on people saying the Dawn of Clans isn’t good? I respect that. But the Arc just provides so much explanation, lore, backstory… it’s just worth reading, in my opinion

My recommendation of when to read it is just any time after Omen of the Stars. So basically as long as you’ve read arcs 1-4, it really doesn’t matter when you decide to start DoTC.
I think it’s a pretty good arc. Good storyline with interesting characters.
For some reason though, I can’t imagine the territory in my head the same way I would for TPB. It just looks significantly different in my head.
I guess maybe that’s ok though, since we don’t know how much of a time gap there is from DoTC to TPB
