Can't upload sound

If I upload sound, it just comes up with a line on the sound thing (you know, the sound editor?)

What's the format of the song you're trying to upload? If it isn't a .wav or .mp3, then that's your issue. Scratch only supports .wav and .mp3 sounds.

I can't upload my sound and it's an .mp3, when I upload it it shows a loading thing but then does absolutely nothing at all.

I'm having this issue. I uploaded 2 .wav files fine, both under 512 KB, and the third won't upload, no matter what file I try.

I'm also having this problem. I have two .aud files that wont dowload. I see the loding bar for a slit second, but then the file isnt uploaded!

Same problem here! certain MP3 sounds will only become nothing!

Solved:
Search mp3 to wav converter.
Scratch only uses and accepts wav files.

Actually, Scratch does allow .mp3 sounds, but it's not that good at loading them. So some .mp3's will work, yet others won't.

Mine works with only mp3s and even after that it doesn't show up in my sounds for that sprite.

Oh yeah you can change the files with itunes

Go to the song, right click it and click “create .wav version”

I have a problem with my project. I keep trying to import a sound from the computer, but the sounds always have the length of 0:00:00, when it's supposed to last 4 minutes!
