What are triggers?
I am unsure what triggers are and want to know so I can warn people about my projects in the future if they have possible triggers.Triggers are a reaction to something that can cause anger, upsetness (I can't English today sorry), or feel uncomfortable. One example could be some who feels upset after some bad memory. When they see a content with something similar to this memory, they could feel these reactions. Though another trigger could be sounds and lights, personally, I get triggered by the sound of gum chewing, though you don't have to add this one if you don't want to. Triggers can be especially good for people who suffer from seizures or epilepsy. ANY content with flashing lights should have a warning cause it can potentially keep someone from a hospital visit. (Well this was longer than I expected.)

What are triggers?
They can also be health related, I believe
some common ones are:
flashes for bright flashing lights
content that may otherwise make someone uncomfortable(that is allowed by the guidelines.)
otherwise, all others depict content that break the guidelines and should be reported.

What are triggers?
Triggers are generally things that could ‘trigger’ an anxiety/panic attack in someone. Stuff like blood, death, abuse - stuff that can temporarily mess you up if you're not in a good state of mind when you find it. Some triggers are broader but others are very specific (such as certain phrases, songs or jokes). A lot of people who have triggers have them due to PTSD or other types of trauma, so don't make fun of anyone if theirs seem ‘silly’. It's good to put a warning for some of the more common ones, such as ‘death’, but bear in mind this is a children's website and disturbing content with a warning will still be taken down.
Some topics can trigger someone enough to physically harm themselves, such as mentions of eating disorders or self-harm. This is why they're never allowed, even with a warning.
It's the same for rapidly flashing lights - they can trigger a photosensitive seizure in someone with epilepsy.
I've heard a lot of people calling ‘caps lock’ a trigger because it makes some people ‘uncomfortable’. That's not how triggers work. Disliking something does not necessarily mean it ‘triggers’ you. Put a caps warning if you want but don't pressure anyone else into doing it and definitely don't report people for not providing warnings. That just spams the ST. Besides, if someone were genuinely at risk of a panic attack when they saw capital letters, I wouldn't recommend using Scratch, a website where there's no way to avoid them.
Finally, some people say ‘triggered’ as a joke after they've made someone angry. This is quite disrespectful although I don't know if you should report it. Probably depends on the context.
(edited to make things clearer)
