I guess it could be useful to some, however in my 3 years of using scratch I have literally never used a sprite from the sprite library unless it’s a mascot or for a joke project, so I dont really know what it feels like to use the pre-made assets.

Eh, I don’t think it could do any harm so I guess support?

I think it's fine to keep cheesy puffs and fortune cookie as bitmap sprites. Not everybody wants to use vector sprites.

I like the additions! However, the “Jello” sprite might need to be renamed to “Jelly” because Jello is copyrighted. And I'm not sure how vegetarians and vegans will react if Scratch added meat sprites. Other than that, I still support. Scratch wants to be diverse, so the addition of new foods could help to some extent.
why didn't you include a popcorn sprite? /j

Think about other people, the reason why the sprite liabary is still here is because people still use it.

For the drinks tab, wouldn’t a lot of juices just be a re-colour (e.g. mango juice as a yellow version of strawberry juice)? The same could apply to food with different flavours, like ice cream. To keep it simple, maybe just 1 generic “juice”, presented as a juice box, in a cup, etc.

Why would Scratch want to make their own versions of real-life brands? Couldn't they just make their own brands instead to avoid getting sued?
