How to make a custom animated profile picture
If you have a DSi, then go to the DSi shop and download Flipnote Studio for free. Then make sure an SD card is in your device. Tap “create flipnote” and make the animation you want. When you're done, tap save, then other, then save as gif. Wait until it's done loading, and make a note of where it's saved on the SD card. Then take out the SD card and pop it into your computer's SD card slot (if your computer doesn't have one then you can buy one). Go into the SD card and click private, DS, app. Then go to the folder that matches the one you made a note of. then click on the gif folder. Find your icon in your profile, click on it, then go to where your animation is. Single click on it, then click open, and, Congrats! You Now Have A Custom Animated Profile Picture! You can use this same trick for studios too.

Since this topic hasn't seen a new post from the topic owner in a long time, I'm going to assume that it is dead and close the topic. If it still is alive, the topic owner just needs to use the Report button to ask a mod to reopen it
