I think a lot of suggestions also ask for way too much. The developers have a lot of things to do, and some posts suggest something that just isn't realistic for the developers to add. This is a non-profit company. Some suggestions have a scope way beyond what Scratch can reasonably add.

EXACTLY, and then sometimes people add even more to those suggestions. I think we should have less “fun features” suggestions, and more “educational” suggestions.

I agree, but we should have at least a little fun in the suggestion topics though!

Why did they close all power block topics? We have trigonometry but not exponents.

I believe that they mean that it was added to Scratch after 1.4.

What if someone made a suggestion to the scratch team not related to coding, or creating projects, but a suggestion to make the website better overall? For example, a redesign, or even my own idea for a recommended section on the explore page?

That's the thing. Also, I doubt an 8-year old would unserstand trigonometry.

They’re wanting to know what’s going on in this topic.

Over most of these suggestions have good ideas, but also more cons or half of the cons than more pros, which means that it’s not a good fit for Scratch, but for other places.

I’d say that some of the ideas I came up in the past didn’t help as much, but now it’s easy to understand.
