I play doom on pc, but I also have the 25th anniversary ports of doom 1 and 2 for Nintendo switch.
Cool. What source port do you use? My wad will require gzdoom.

i actually use the internet archive ports to doom 1 and 2. i also use this random emulator for 64. i have DOOM eternal on switch.
Oh. Do you know how to use the doom 1 and 2 wad files with gzdoom?

I'm on chrome, so sadly I cant run gzdoom or .wads

is linux disabled? (depending on your hardware you may need lzdoom)

I was playing Doom (2016) on my Switch with my volume off. So whenever I did a glory kill the controllers vibrated so I was seeing these intense visuals that were accompanied with he sounds of a broken Atari game.

so anyways uhhhh I downloaded 2 Terry .WADs (not linking cuz yk)
1 of them actually crashed my GZDoom and I thought it would only crash Skulltag like in the video about the .WAD
(the 2 Terry .WADs are from a youtuber that has do_not_play as their most viewed video)

I posted this cuz I thought it might be related to this topic then

Anyways, I remember there is a GZDoom on the App Store
which is called GenZD

and it does work
even though the GZDoom version is outdated

and some mods crash the app (most likely could be an error or something)

You do have to pay for the custom controls and have more than 2 launch configs

and it also uses Metal as the Graphics API
