I've been working on a pixel fighting game and I'm almost done the art, but I need ideas for characters that are original, simple(ish) to draw, and possibly goofy. Attack animations and other animation ideas would be great too!

Squishy Slime:
Character: A gelatinous slime with a mischievous grin.
Attacks:
Slimeball Spit: Spits a sticky slimeball that temporarily immobilizes opponents.
Bouncy Slam: Jumps up and slams down, creating shockwaves upon landing.
Other Animations:
Idle Animation: The slime wobbles and jiggles in place.
Victory Dance: Transforms into various shapes and sizes, celebrating the win.

Steamy Mechanic:
Character: A robotic character with steam-powered limbs and a wrench.
Attacks:
Steam Punch: Charges up and delivers a powerful punch while releasing bursts of steam.
Gadget Toss: Throws a variety of mechanical gadgets that explode on impact.
Other Animations:
Charge Up: Character releases steam while preparing for a powerful attack.
Defeat Reaction: Gears and bolts fly around as the character gets knocked out.

Whirling Dervish:
Character: A tornado-like creature with a comical face and arms.
Attacks:
Tornado Spin: Spins rapidly, creating a mini-tornado that draws opponents in.
Wind Slap: Unleashes a quick slap that sends a gust of wind toward the opponent.
Other Animations:
Entrance: Character forms from swirling winds, then takes its shape.
Special Move Charge: Gathers clouds and energy to prepare for a devastating attack.

Pajama Knight:
Character: A character in fluffy pajamas, armed with a pillow and a bedtime storybook.
Attacks:
Pillow Whack: Whacks opponents with a pillow, causing them to temporarily doze off.
Bedtime Story: Opens the storybook, summoning dream-like creatures to aid in battle.
Other Animations:
Yawning: The character yawns and stretches during idle moments.
Ultimate Move: Character dons a sleep mask, then releases a super-powered snore attack.

Inkling Artist:
Character: A quirky artist who fights using ink-based attacks.
Attacks:
Ink Splat: Throws ink blobs that temporarily blind opponents on impact.
Easel Shield: Sets up an easel and hides behind it for temporary defense.
Other Animations:
Painting Animation: Character uses a brush to create abstract ink paintings during idle times.
Defeat Pose: Character's ink splatters all around as they slump over in defeat.
